Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed eye examinations and vision tests.
Diagnose eye conditions and diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other corrective measures.
Recommend treatments or further medical consultations when necessary.
Educate patients on eye health, hygiene, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Stay updated with advancements in optometry and ophthalmology.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optometry from an accredited institution.
Valid license or certification to practice as an Optometrist.
Proven clinical experience in optometry or ophthalmic care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail and excellent diagnostic abilities.
