Responsibilities
Develop and review MV/LV infrastructure design packages in line with project specifications and UAE authority standards.
Perform electrical calculations and studies such as load flow, short-circuit analysis, cable sizing, and equipment sizing using SINCAL and other relevant tools.
Prepare design deliverables including single-line diagrams (SLDs), load schedules, schematics, cable routing layouts, and design reports.
Produce technical documentation such as specifications, calculation sheets, and design reports.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams for design alignment, reviews, and approvals.
Support authority submission processes and ensure compliance with ADDC / DEWA / FEWA requirements (as applicable).
Provide technical support during tender evaluations and throughout construction phases when required.
Ensure design quality, safety, best practices, and delivery within project timelines.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
8–12 years of UAE experience in electrical design for infrastructure/utilities projects.
Strong experience in MV/LV infrastructure design, including:
Load flow studies, short-circuit calculations
Cable sizing, schematics, design reports
Proficiency in SINCAL for network modeling and electrical analysis.
Good understanding of UAE codes, regulations, and authority approval requirements.
Experience preparing detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and calculation sheets.
Strong coordination, communication, technical writing, and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
FEWA Certified Engineer (preferred).
Experience working with UAE authorities such as ADDC, DEWA, FEWA (advantage).
Exposure to authority review cycles and approvals for infrastructure networks.
