Role Purpose:
To provide specialized nursing care and education for patients with diabetes, ensuring evidence-based management, patient empowerment, and alignment with international standards of diabetic care
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes
Conduct patient education sessions on self-management, lifestyle modification, insulin administration, and glucose monitoring
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, dietitians, pharmacists) to optimize patient outcomes
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on current clinical guidelines
Participate in community outreach and awareness programs on diabetes prevention and management
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Support staff training and competency development in diabetic care protocols
Qualifications Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
DHA Eligibility letter or MOH Evaluation Letter
Certification in Diabetes Education (preferred)
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a dedicated diabetic clinic
