Responsibilities
1.Strong Category Management Experience
- Ability to analyze pharmaceutical category performance.
- Identify high-profit and fast-moving products.
- Develop and implement effective category strategies.
2. Deep Understanding of the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Market
- Knowledge of OTC, Rx, vitamins, and personal care products.
- Familiarity with suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution conditions.
3. Data Analysis Skills
- Analysis of sales, inventory, and profit margins.
- Strong proficiency in Excel to ensure high-quality performance.
- Ability to conduct accurate demand forecasting.
4. Supplier Negotiation Skills
- Managing contracts and negotiating prices, rebates, and marketing support.
- Evaluating suppliers and maintaining long-term business relationships.
5. Supply Chain Awareness
- Understanding supply flow, stock availability, and minimizing shortages.
Qualifications
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term category plans, enhance profitability, and analyze competitors and market trends.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Evaluating risks and making accurate purchasing decisions quickly.
- Effective Communication: Coordinating with suppliers, marketing, finance, and warehouse operations.
- Problem-Solving: Handling supply challenges, stock shortages, and sales-related issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement.
