This is a full-time, on-site position for a Sales & Estimation Engineer – Electrical, based in Sabhan, Kuwait.
The Sales & Estimation Engineer will be responsible for handling technical sales activities and preparing accurate cost estimations for electrical projects.
The role includes analyzing drawings and BOQs, preparing technical and commercial proposals, coordinating with suppliers, supporting the sales team, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
The position also requires close collaboration with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate pricing, technical compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- 3-4 years of experience in sales and estimation for electrical projects within Kuwait.
- Proven experience in electrical projects (LV, MV, ELV) and familiarity with local market requirements.
- Strong background in sales engineering, cost estimation, and technical support.
- Ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel; familiarity with estimation or ERP software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local standards and authorities (MEW, MPW, KOC) is a plus.
