Job Title: Commis II
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred
Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience as a Commis or junior chef in hotels, restaurants, or catering
Experience in international or luxury hospitality preferred
Requirements:
Assist in food preparation according to recipes and menu specifications
Support the kitchen team in daily operations and maintaining hygiene standards
Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients
Follow safety, sanitation, and quality standards in the kitchen
Assist in inventory management and report shortages or issues to senior chefs
Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
Proven experience as a junior chef or Commis in a professional kitchen
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and hygiene
