We’re Hiring: Junior Sales Engineer – Abu Dhabi, UAE
TAQANA Energy Solutions is expanding its commercial and technical team and is currently looking for an enthusiastic and technically competent Junior Sales Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi. This position plays a key role in supporting EPC contractors involved in large-scale energy and infrastructure projects across the UAE.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) switchgear, along with a genuine interest in sales, client interaction, and business development within the electrical and energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets within the EPC contractor network
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with EPC contractors, project managers, and key stakeholders, including TAQA, ADNOC, and government-related entities
Identify new business opportunities and actively grow market presence within Abu Dhabi
Conduct technical presentations, meetings, and product demonstrations for clients
Work closely with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure customer requirements and specifications are fully met
Prepare tailored technical proposals, cost estimates, and quotations
Negotiate commercial and contractual terms to secure profitable and sustainable agreements
Monitor project timelines and maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle
Provide regular sales updates, reports, and market insights to management
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
2 to 5 years of experience in a sales engineering role, preferably within switchgear or electrical infrastructure
Knowledge of the Abu Dhabi EPC market with existing industry connections is an advantage
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using CRM systems
