Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

Reports on the progress of projects under their control to the Supervisor and/or Administrator and modifies work activities to reflect changes in requirements identified by management.
Acts as a leader on projects involving the use of data science, software development, systems analysis and Petroleum Engineering skills for developing software solutions and machine learning models to problems in Reservoir, Drilling and Production Engineering.
Directs the work of new Petroleum Engineering Systems Analysts in devising and implementing solutions of technical problems using machine learning, software development, or business intelligence tools.
Works with senior staff and supervisory management to assure that derived software solutions are technically valid and represent good engineering and computer practices.

Minimum Requirements
As the successful candidate you will hold a:

Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related Engineering discipline from an accredited university. A degree in Computer & Information Systems, Physical Sciences, or Mathematics is a plus.
7 years of experience in oil and gas industry includes: petroleum and drilling application systems.
