Major Responsibilities:
Assist the Quality Manager in implementing the project quality program/plan and communicating requirements to project team.
Lead and support the implementation of People-Based Quality (PBQ), Lessons Learned, Closed Loop Corrective Actions and Continuous Improvement.
Prepare QA audit checklists and lead audits of project quality programs, including vendor and contractor/subcontractor assessments.
Monitor quality activities across engineering, procurement, and construction to ensure compliance with approved plans, procedures and specifications.
Identify quality issues, initiate corrective actions, and verify resolution under the guidance of the Quality Manager.
Maintain liaison with client quality representatives and support the Quality Manager during client or regulatory audits.
Review engineering, procurement and construction documents for inclusion of quality requirements and ensure adherence to project quality plans.
Review and determine applicable quality requirements, report new or revised regulatory requirements.
Support development and revision of QA procedures and project-specific quality documentation.
Support the development and implementation of the Project Quality Audit & Surveillance Schedule.
Manage and perform internal and external quality audits/surveillances and follow up on the closure of findings.
Coordinate inspections and surveillances at site and vendor locations; maintain accurate inspection records and issue NCRs as needed.
Utilize DevonWay or similar systems for Closed Loop Corrective Action (CLCA) and process Condition Reports and recommendations for audits and surveillances.
Verify the implementation of Best Practices and Lessons Learned, including collection, evaluation and documentation into DevonWay or Lessons Learned Register.
Assist in root cause analysis and closed-loop corrective action processes, ensuring timely closure of findings.
Prequalify subcontractors and suppliers, evaluating their quality system and capabilities and controls.
Review subcontractors’ and suppliers’ submittals including quality manuals procedures, quality plans, ITPs resumes for quality personnels, test reports and audit reports and schedules.

Provide training and guidance to project personnel on quality requirements and procedures and conduct project QMS orientation and awareness sessions as applicable.
Support preparation of quality reports, KPIs, and lessons learned for management review.
Report quality weekly/monthly progress to the project quality manager.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline (required).
ISO 9001:2015 Certified Lead Auditor (IRCA approved) – required.
Additional certifications in Quality (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) – preferred.
Minimum 12–15 years of relevant experience, including minimum 8 years in a supervisory or lead role in quality.
Experience in QA/QC activities across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and ISO standards.
Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and quality plans.
Strong analytical skills with practical knowledge of how to identify key performance quality matrices, proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action systems.
Proficiency in providing direction and on the job training to assigned personnel.
Proficiency in oral and written communications.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management and presentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI and quality management software.
Ability to work collaboratively under the direction of the Quality Manager and lead quality activities effectively
