Key Responsibilities
Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 & MS Project
Develop project budgets, cost estimates, and cash flow forecasts
Perform cost control, cost tracking, and variance analysis
Coordinate with project, procurement, and site teams to ensure schedule & cost compliance
Prepare progress reports, S-curves, manpower histograms, and Earned Value Analysis (EVA)
Identify schedule delays and cost overruns; propose corrective action plans
Support management with timely planning and cost control reports
Ensure planning activities comply with Oil & Gas project execution standards
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical or related)
Experience: 3+ years as a Planning Engineer in Oil & Gas projects
Planning Tools:
Primavera P6 (mandatory)
MS Project (mandatory)
Cost Control: Proven experience in budgeting, cost control, and project forecasting
Project Knowledge: Good understanding of EPC project lifecycle & reporting
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and coordination
Ability to work under tight project timelines
Preferred Skills:
Experience in Oil & Gas construction projects
Knowledge of contract schedules, claims support, invoicing, and billing

Average Market Salary (Estimated):
SAR 8,000 – 14,000 per month
