Description:
American Gulf School (AGS), a well-established international school in Sharjah, UAE, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Admissions Officer to join its academic administration team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in school admissions, in-depth knowledge of SPEA requirements, and hands-on experience with the Daleel system. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students, families, and school leadership while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Daleel & System Management:
Manage the Tamaam – Student Affairs platform to ensure smooth coordination of student-related activities
Oversee the implementation, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of the Daleel system, ensuring accurate student records and full SPEA compliance
Ensure all activity-related forms, waivers, and parental permissions are completed and returned within required timelines
Enter, update, and maintain data on relevant authority systems including attendance, activities, and student clubs
Admissions, Enrollment & Orientation:
Support the complete student enrollment process and guide families through admissions procedures
Coordinate and assist with orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new students and parents
Data Management & Reporting:
Maintain accurate admissions, activity, and Daleel records across school databases and systems
Prepare reports on admissions trends, student participation, and compliance metrics for leadership review
Outreach & Representation:
Represent American Gulf School at education fairs, open days, and community outreach initiatives
Build and maintain strong relationships with external educational bodies and community partners
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification
Proven experience in school admissions, student affairs, or educational administration
Strong working knowledge of SPEA regulations and the Daleel system
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and database management tools
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced school environment
Strong commitment to service excellence and student-focused support
Availability:
