Workshop Manager
Job Location : Ras alKhaimah, United Arab Emirates
Key responsibility:
• Oversee daily workshop operations and ensure efficient workflow
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians, ensuring quality standards are met
• Coordinate job scheduling, resource allocation, and time management
• Implement health and safety protocols and compliance standards
• Manage inventory, tools, and equipment maintenance
• Provide technical support and guidance to the team
• Conduct diagnostics, inspections, and quality control on complex jobs
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of all technical tasks
• Identify new business opportunities in the local and regional market
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
• Prepare and deliver proposals, estimates, and service contracts
• Collaborate with the sales/marketing team to promote workshop services
• Monitor industry trends and recommend service improvements
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Workshop Manager or in a supervisory role in a workshop setting.
• Business development or sales experience is a strong advantage
• Strong technical knowledge of equipment, machinery, and repair processes.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a workshop environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in relevant software tools for tracking and managing workflow.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or a degree in engineering is preferred.
