Mechanical Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on approved mechanical drawings and project specifications
Read, review, and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, P&IDs, isometrics, and specifications
Execute mechanical works at site including HVAC, piping, plumbing, firefighting, and equipment installation
Handle site preparation activities such as material planning, manpower allocation, and work sequencing
Supervise site installation to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Coordinate with electrical, civil, and other disciplines for smooth project execution
Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and material requisitions
Monitor site progress, productivity, and workmanship quality
Assist in testing, commissioning, and system handover activities
Ensure implementation of HSE requirements and company safety procedures
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and support as-built documentation
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 2–5 years experience in mechanical site execution (EPC / construction projects preferred)
Strong experience in BOQ preparation and quantity take-off
Good understanding of mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications
Practical site supervision and execution experience
Knowledge of relevant mechanical codes and standards
Good communication and coordination skills
Proficient in AutoCAD (preferred)
Preferred Skills:
Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects
Knowledge of testing & commissioning procedures
Ability to work independently under site conditions
