Major Responsibilities:
Lead the design development of dry utility systems across multiple projects. Ensuring alignment with strategic goals and international standards.
Coordinate with civil, structural, environmental, and MEP teams to ensure integrated design solutions within the framework of Bechtel / Client requirements.
Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards (e.g., ASCE, AWWA, ISO), and client requirements.
Manage design consultants and sub-contractors, ensuring timely and quality submissions.
Support permitting processes and liaise with relevant authorities for approvals.
Conduct technical reviews and value engineering assessments in consultation with client appointed design consultants.
When directed, shall participate in design workshops with relevant design consultant, stakeholder meetings, and interdisciplinary coordination sessions.
Monitor design risks and implement mitigation strategies Provide technical support during construction and respond to RFIs related to wet utilities.
Ensure compliance with the Customer’s project governance procedures & requirements.
Establish and maintain robust engineering progress and performance measurement processes & reports.
Review major changes or deviations in project scope, project material quantities, budget or schedule, and assist particularly with defining the change, obtaining accurate estimates of the hours involved, and notifying trends in accordance with Project Change Control procedures.
Ensure engineering coordination efforts with Project Manager, Procurement/Contracts, Construction, Startup, Environmental Safety and Health (ES&H) and Project Controls.
Direct preparation of project studies, reports, forecasts, special engineering reports as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering with overall 15 -20 years of experience and 8-10 years of relevant experience in big infrastructure projects.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills at varying levels of the organization.
Ability to work effectively under pressure with changing priorities and deadlines

Previous, related, working experience in the middle east is highly preferred.
Previous experience and expert knowledge of KSA labor laws and working practices and requirements is highly preferred.
Experience of working within a multicultural, highly diverse team environment is essential.
Desirable: understanding of current innovations in airport terminals, including applications of AI.
Desirable: understanding of airline industry and international regulatory codes, standards and design criteria relating to airport design.
Possesses working knowledge and production ability with computer-aided drafting software, such as AutoCAD and Revit.
Possesses a working knowledge of BIM, GIS and utility modelling software (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
planning processes, including experience designing projects in BIM platforms, particularly Revit and Navisworks.
