Job Description :

• Dispense medications accurately, ensuring proper dosage, labeling, and patient counseling to guarantee patient safety and medication adherence.
• Verify prescriptions for authenticity, legality, and appropriateness, collaborating with prescribers to resolve any discrepancies and promote optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, educating them on drug interactions, side effects, and administration techniques for informed decision-making.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to maintain operational efficiency and quality standards.
• Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of medications, to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent wastage.
• Monitor and evaluate drug utilization patterns, identifying opportunities for improvement in medication management and patient care.
• Participate in medication safety programs, reporting adverse drug events and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and enhance patient safety.
• Stay current with pharmaceutical advancements, regulations, and best practices through continuing education and professional development to maintain expertise.
• Maintain accurate patient medication records, adhering to confidentiality and privacy regulations to safeguard sensitive health information.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care, participating in multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated and coordinated healthcare services.

Desired Candidate Profile :

• Possesses a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from an accredited institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences.
• Holds a valid Pharmacist license from the Department of Health (DOH), confirming eligibility to practice pharmacy in the specified jurisdiction.
• Demonstrates a minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered Pharmacist, showcasing practical application of pharmaceutical knowledge
