Job Title: Petrol Mechanic
Qualifications & Experience:
Skilled Labour / Automotive / Auto Industry (Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Mechanics preferred)
3–5 years of hands-on experience in petrol engine repair and maintenance
Experience in workshops, service centers, or automotive garages
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of petrol engine systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
Ability to troubleshoot engine, fuel, and ignition system issues
Familiarity with automotive tools and equipment
Good understanding of safety procedures and workshop standards
Physical stamina and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain petrol engines and related components
Perform routine servicing, inspections, and preventive maintenance
Replace worn or defective parts and conduct engine tuning
Maintain tools, equipment, and clean work environment
Assist in vehicle testing and ensure performance standards are met
Record maintenance and repair activities for reference
