Key Responsibilities:
Prepare electrical shop drawings for construction and MEP projects using AutoCAD
Develop detailed layouts for electrical systems including power distribution, lighting systems, ELV systems, and fire alarm installations
Produce as-built drawings and technical documentation during project completion stages
Review engineering designs and translate them into accurate drafting documentation
Coordinate with electrical engineers, MEP teams, and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy
Update and revise drawings according to project changes and engineering instructions
Ensure compliance with project standards, construction codes, and technical specifications
Maintain drawing records, revisions, and project documentation in accordance with company standards
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education
Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Drafting, or a related technical discipline
Experience
Minimum 3+ years of experience working as an Electrical Draftsman in construction or MEP projects
Experience working on UAE or GCC construction projects preferred
Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical drafting
Experience preparing electrical shop drawings and as-built drawings
Knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, and fire alarm systems
Familiarity with Revit MEP is considered an advantage
Professional Skills
Strong technical drawing accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Good documentation and communication skills
