Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a Western trained Chief Operating Officer for their client in Dubai, UAE which is a multispecialty hospital. Candidates with experience working in senior operational leadership roles within a JCI accredited multispecialty hospital in the USA or Canada would be ideal for this role.

We are looking for professionals with a minimum of 18 to 20 years of healthcare experience, including at least 5 to 8 years in a senior hospital operations leadership role such as Chief Operating Officer, Deputy COO, or Operations Director within a JCI accredited hospital. The role requires strong operational leadership to ensure efficient delivery of hospital services, optimal patient experience, and alignment with clinical and business objectives. The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hospital, ensuring all clinical and non-clinical departments function efficiently and in alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic goals. Provide leadership across key operational areas including inpatient services, outpatient services, emergency, critical care, diagnostics, support services, and facilities management.

Maintain close coordination with the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, and Medical Leadership to ensure effective execution of operational strategies. Support governance processes and facilitate collaboration between clinical teams, administrative functions, and external stakeholders including regulatory authorities and service providers.Lead physician engagement from an operational perspective, ensuring efficient workflows, patient flow optimization, and alignment between medical staff and hospital operations. Support physician recruitment, onboarding, and operational integration, while ensuring compliance with clinical and operational standards.

Drive operational excellence through implementation of performance management frameworks, KPIs, patient experience initiatives, and quality improvement programs. Oversee resource planning, staffing models, and cost optimization strategies to ensure efficient utilization of hospital resources. Work closely with finance leadership on budgeting, cost controls, procurement processes, and operational financial performance. Support contract negotiations, vendor management, and service agreements to ensure operational efficiency and compliance. Provide oversight of hospital infrastructure, facility management, and expansion projects. Ensure operational readiness, maintenance of assets, and implementation of disaster preparedness and emergency response protocols in alignment with regulatory requirements.

Salary : Aed 100,000 per month plus family benefits (Salary mentioned in the advertisement is indicative. The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
