5–8 years of experience in QA/QC within construction contracting companies, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, approved drawings, and applicable codes. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain project QA/QC plans, procedures, and quality documentation.
Conduct inspections for civil, architectural, structural, and MEP works.
Review material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and technical documents.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams regarding quality issues.
Ensure work execution complies with approved drawings, specifications, and international standards.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), corrective actions, and quality records.
Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Participate in internal audits and quality meetings.
Liaise with third-party laboratories and testing agencies for material testing and inspections.
Track and close quality observations and punch list items.
Support project handover documentation and final quality dossiers.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
5–8 years of QA/QC experience in construction contracting companies.
UAE/GCC project experience preferred.
Good knowledge of:
ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
Material inspection procedures
Concrete, steel, finishing, and MEP quality standards
Familiarity with local and international standards (ASTM, BS, ACI, etc.).
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and construction documentation software.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
UAE driving license is an advantage.
