Senior Accountant
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE accounting regulations
• Review the work completed by junior accountants and provide guidance when required
• Manage multiple client portfolios and maintain high service standards
• Perform account reconciliations and financial analysis
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Coordinate with clients regarding accounting and financial matters
• Visit client locations when required to review accounting records and operations
• Ensure timely completion of assignments and reporting deadlines
• Support management with financial planning and decision-making processes
Core Competencies :
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience within the UAE
• ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems, accounting software, and Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and reporting capabilities
• Ability to review and supervise the work of junior accounting staff
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and meet deadlines effectively
• Immediate joiners preferred
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and UAE accounting regulations
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit preparation
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, accounting software, and advanced Excel functions
