QHSE Officer
Job Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Implement, maintain, and improve ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Ensure compliance with ADOSH SF and applicable UAE legal requirements.
• Maintain QHSE manuals, procedures, SOPs, and records.
• Plan and conduct internal QHSE audits as per annual audit programs.
• Support external audits (certification, client, and regulatory audits).
• Prepare audit reports, identify non-conformities, and monitor corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification (HIRA), and environmental aspect & impact assessments.
• Monitor workplace safety practices and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare RCA and corrective actions.
• Ensure availability and compliance of PPE, firefighting equipment, MSDS, and emergency preparedness.
• Monitor environmental controls related to waste management, chemical handling, spill prevention, and emissions.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Support ESG and sustainability initiatives where applicable.
