Astra Construction is looking for an Electrical Quantity Surveyor (QS)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quantity Surveying & Measurement:
Prepare quantity take-offs from electrical drawings and specifications.
Verify quantities for power, lighting, low-current, fire alarm, grounding, and other electrical systems.
Measure and value executed works for interim and final payments.
Review and certify subcontractor progress claims.
Maintain accurate records of quantities and project measurements.
Review contract documents, BOQs, specifications, and drawings
Support claim preparation and commercial negotiations.
2. Procurement Support:
Assist procurement department in technical and commercial evaluation of quotations.
Verify quantities for material requisitions and purchase orders.
Review supplier and subcontractor quotations against project requirements.
Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
3. Progress Monitoring & Reporting:
Prepare monthly valuation reports.
Monitor work progress against BOQ quantities.
Generate quantity reconciliation reports.
Assist in preparing commercial and management reports.
Maintain updated records of approved variations and claims.
4 Coordination:
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, finance, and site teams.
Attend project meetings when required.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, company procedures, and contractual requirements
Experience required: Minimum 5 Years in Construction
Industry (Saudi Arabia/GCC)
