Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel engine faults.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain rotating and non-rotating equipment.
- Carry out maintenance on drilling rig equipment and related mechanical systems.
- Perform emergency repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, including PTW and LOTO.
- Support rig operations and maintain equipment reliability.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanic in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Hands-on experience with drilling rig equipment, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pumps, compressors, and generators.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Familiar with Permit to Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Good command of the English language.
- Ability to work in a site environment and under pressure.
- Relevant technical qualification or certification is preferred.
