Senior HSE Officer
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities :
• Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports, records, and documentation.
• Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare detailed reports.
• Monitor compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct safety drills.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities on safety matters.
• Ensure environmental protection measures are implemented at project sites.
• Track HSE performance indicators and recommend continuous improvements.
• Support the implementation of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards.
Requirements :
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, safety standards, and risk management practices.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience in conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Good communication, leadership, and training skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage site safety requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HSE reporting systems.
