HSE Officer
Job Location : Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment across the school
• Prepare and update risk assessments and emergency response plans
• Conduct HSE awareness sessions and safety training for staff
• Maintain safety signage and emergency arrangements throughout the school
• Coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments
• Conduct fire drills, emergency evacuation exercises, and safety awareness programs
• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident reports, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate with Civil Defence, municipality officials, maintenance teams, and other authorities when required
Requirements :
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• NEBOSH qualification is mandatory
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant HSE experience; school or education-sector experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations, fire safety requirements, and emergency procedures
• Experience conducting fire drills, evacuation exercises, and safety awareness programs
• Ability to maintain accurate HSE documentation, inspection reports, and compliance records
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, administrators, maintenance teams, and management
• Immediate joiners or candidates available within a short notice period are preferred
