Accounts and Finance Manager
Job Location : United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate-tax, and statutory-reporting requirements
• Lead statutory, internal, and external audits
• Coordinate with auditors and resolve audit findings
• Develop project budgets and monitor cost-to-complete
• Prepare forecasts and analyze budget variances
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and financial guarantees
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
• Improve finance processes and internal controls
Requirements :
• CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• Minimum 8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including management responsibilities
• Hands-on experience with statutory, internal, and external audits
• Strong knowledge of audit planning, financial controls, compliance, and audit-observation management
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and project accounting
• Experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, construction, contracting, or infrastructure is preferred
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, corporate tax, internal controls, audit coordination, cash-flow management, and project accounting
