Safety Officer
◾ An appropriate qualification in occupational safety and health or a related discipline.
◾ Practical experience in the field of safety, preferably within the contracting and projects sector.
◾ Knowledge of risk assessment procedures, field inspections, follow-up observations and corrective actions.
◾ Ability to carry out Toolbox Talk meetings and follow up on PPE usage.
◾ Knowledge of accident and emergency procedures and safety reporting.
◾ Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are a plus.
