What we are looking for: Candidates with relevant UAE experience in the façade, curtain wall, cladding, aluminum, and glass industry will be highly preferred.
A Collection Officer in the UAE is responsible for managing outstanding debts, recovering overdue payments from clients, and ensuring a healthy cash flow for the company while adhering to UAE financial regulations.
Core Responsibilities
• Payment Recovery: Contact debtors via phone, email, and site visits to secure overdue payments.
• Negotiation: Settlement of outstanding balances by setting up feasible payment plans.
• Account Monitoring: Review accounts receivable ledgers to identify delinquent accounts.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of collection activities and prepare weekly/monthly status reports.
• Legal Coordination: Escalate non-paying accounts to the legal department or external agencies in compliance with UAE laws.
Key Requirements
• Experience: 2–4 years of collection or credit control experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required; bilingual skills (Arabic or Hindi/Urdu) are highly valued.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE banking procedures, cheque laws, and debt collection regulations.
