Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions.
• Project Accounting: Track project costs, manage budgets, and prepare financial reports for construction and fire industry projects.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, perform reconciliations, and ensure accurate valuation.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets, perform variance analysis, and provide financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Audit: Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare audit schedules, and respond to audit inquiries.
• General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Taxation: Prepare and file tax returns, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and provide support during tax audits.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

🎓Qualifications : 📝

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA. ACCA certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role. Experience in the construction and trading industries is highly desirable. Experience working in Saudi Arabia is required.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft dynamics, or similar), Microsoft Excel, and financial analysis tools.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills.
