Job Purpose:
• This position is responsible for the entire dairy - short life, long life, frozen products – making, processing, shaping, filling, sealing equipment that pertains to reception, blending, R.O., Processing, storage, filling, downstream, upstream, utilities, accessories –. All plants must function smoothly while operation and maintenance of plants are kept tip-top 24x7.
• Establishing preventive maintenance policies, periodical maintenance, spare parts usage sparingly, preparing procedures and flow charts based on fish bone spot study.
• Maintaining plant production lines and fostering a well-trained, motivated maintenance staff.
• In a supporting role, the position helps supervise with a watchful eye in order to coordinate holistically all plant maintenance personnel who’re related to automation, electrical, mechanical, utility, pneumatic cum electrical, valves, aerodynamics of hot, cool & frozen air throw to the target.
• Moreover, to achieve an effective and efficient judicial low-cost plant operation without sacrificing required maintenance; with high standard & excellent, initial, intermediate process - leading to safe & excellent end products.
• The position is required to troubleshoot problems in SCADA PLC Signal exchange management & description, Hardwired or ethernet Communication, and other applications that interface with the individual machine components to create an automated environment for processing. Able to handle and resolve any breakdown that arises without depending on others & training others. Capable with hands-on-experience in programming and troubleshooting of Simens PLC -TIA Portal, Allen Bradley PLC is must.
Salary: 950 OMR Fixed+ Accommodations + Medical + yearly Ticket + Other facility will be as per work requirement and grade
Professional Qualifications:
• B.Tech/Engineering degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, and control.
• Thorough understanding and hands on experience in PLC, SCADA programming
• have a valid driver’s license
Work Experience:
• Overall experience of 10 to 15 years or more in manufacturing and Plant Maintenance experience in an FMCG company/agribusiness.
• Experience in overseeing manufacturing of dairy products will be preferred.
• Hands on Experience with Siemens- TIA Portal, Allen Bradley PLC programming is a must.
• Strong understanding of the Middle East especially Oman
