Project Engineer
Duty and Responsibilities :
• Preparing Project Plan /schedule in P6 (Level 4) or MS project for Pre bidding stage and after award of contract, coordination and monitor the assigned projects.
• Review the Project specifications, Design, drawings, QHSE requirement and give feedback to Marketing and Proposal Department during Pre Bid. Also assist with Project Manager for preparing cost estimates according to his guidance.
• Review the requirements of award of contract, customer requirements, complete technical studies and commercial terms and delivery conditions.
• Prepares planning for activity duration and resource requirements for project with the inputs from concerned departments.
• Develop, maintain and update Daily /weekly /monthly project progress review report and submit to the Department Manager.
• Keep track of all ongoing works from a planning perspective as required like customer Feedback, Complaint, Appreciations, Delivery notes, Project completion certificates (PCC) etc.
• Ensuring all procedures and documents are submitted to the client for review and approval before executing any project.
• Attends & records the weekly/monthly progress meetings (internal as well as with client) and preparation of minutes of meetings.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Evaluate the effect of external factors on project execution and schedule timeline. Maintain all the records / updates / Documents related to resources Information.
• Study the Project progress review and highlight the Risk factors / Bottle neck area to the Management with appropriate resolution / contingency plan.
Requirements:
• The successful candidate should possess a minimum of bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have 6 - 8 years’ experience of extensive project/planning in Fabrication industry such as Pressure vessels, Heat exchangers, Drums, storage tanks, reactors, etc.
