Job Title: Junior Technical Sales Officer – Oil Sales (Oil & Gas Industry)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support:
• Assist the senior sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector.
• Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and bids.
• Help maintain client relationships by providing follow-up services and responding to basic inquiries.
2. Technical Assistance:
• Develop a strong understanding of the company’s oil products, including their specifications and applications.
• Assist in explaining product features and benefits to clients under the guidance of senior sales officers.
• Work closely with technical teams to relay client needs and ensure proper technical support is provided.
3. Client Interaction:
• Participate in client meetings and site visits with senior sales officers to gain practical experience.
• Assist in preparing product demonstrations and presentations for potential clients.
• Help maintain client contact and ensure customer satisfaction by responding to queries promptly.
4. Market Research & Data Collection:
• Conduct basic market research to identify new trends, customer needs, and competitor products.
• Gather data on potential clients and help build and maintain a database of sales leads.
5. Administrative Support:
• Update CRM systems with client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities.
• Assist in preparing sales reports and forecasts for internal meetings.
• Provide logistical support in coordinating product deliveries and follow up with customers on post-sales support.
6. Training & Learning:
• Continuously develop technical knowledge of the oil and gas industry through training and mentoring.
• Stay updated on product developments, industry trends, and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Petroleum Studies, Business, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge or interest in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn CRM software.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and training.
