Laundry Operations Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laundry Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations in one of our laundry facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring efficient and high-quality laundry service, maintaining equipment, and optimizing operational workflows to exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all aspects of laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing services.
• Develop, implement, and maintain operational procedures to ensure smooth workflow and quality standards are met.
• Supervise and train laundry staff, promote teamwork, and ensure a safe and productive work environment.
• Monitor production KPI’s, schedules and manage resources to meet service demands and delivery deadlines.
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, including equipment maintenance and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, resolve issues promptly, and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage inventory of laundry supplies, maintain adequate stock levels, and control costs through efficient procurement.
• Analyze operational data, track key performance metrics, and identify areas for process improvement.
• Work with the maintenance team to ensure laundry machines and other equipment function properly and are serviced as needed.
• Prepare reports on operations, performance metrics, and any necessary adjustments to strategies.
• Manage budgets and forecasts
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Engineering degree, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 8-10 years if proven experience in laundry operations management.
• Strong knowledge of laundry processes, chemicals, and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in using computer software relevant to inventory and operations management.
