Job Description
This role is responsible for providing a high quality, professional and customer-focused in governance service to Wholesale Banking’s Group (WBG) on Rules & Procedures.
Also, will work with team colleagues across the full range of governance activities, and lead on identifying and delivering opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our work.
The role holder keep’s up to date with governance developments and be proactive in proposing changes to WBG procedures and working arrangements to ensure Wholesale Banking’s Group (WBG) meet requirements as well as continually improving the way we support the WBG.
Create/update bank policies & procedures for Business for Wholesale Banking’s Group (WBG)
Support WBG to identify Risks, Gaps & weaknesses on Control.
Analyze business operational trends and existing procedures, propose changes to improve efficiency and reduce risk / loss
Participate in management meetings and contribute to the formulation of plans for BG
Lead investigations on reported suspicious activities, pursue corrective action and report to concerned departments.
Perform periodic back-testing on below subjects by doing sample check ongoing basis to ensure that all stakeholders follow the P&P
Create, Update & monitor WBG SLA’s
Coordinates with internal and external auditors and permanent risk control department to regularize their findings and/or implements their recommendations
Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance or business.
Minimum 8 years in Banking Operations & Corporate experience
Skills
Sound knowledge of the corporate and other BSF products and services (including procedures) offered to various customers of the bank
Write & Develop Policies & Procedures
Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation (written and spoken) skills
Microsoft office, especially good understanding of Word, Power Point and Excel.
Detailed understanding of all relevant SAMA and other regulations.
Risk and internal control management
Negotiation and persuasion skills
Written and spoken fluency in English language
