Key Responsibilities of the Telephone Operator:
-Directs call to guest rooms, staff, or departments through the switchboard.
-Places outgoing calls
-Receives guest messages and deliver the same to the guest.
-Logs all wake-up call requests and performs wake-up call services.
-Provides information about hotel services to guests.
-Understand the telephone operator board.
-Provides paging services for hotel guests and employees.
-Experience in handling Room Service calls is a plus.
Requirements of the Telephone Operator:
-Experience in guest relations beneficial but not essential
-Hands-on approach with a can-do work style
-Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
-Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned
-Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence
-Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
-Strong communication skills
