Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities of an IT Sales Executive
• Actively seeking out potential clients through various channels like networking events, industry research, cold calling, and online platforms
• Assessing the potential value and viability of leads, prioritizing those most likely to convert into paying customers.
• Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
• Conducting thorough needs assessments with potential clients to understand their IT challenges and requirements.
• Developing and presenting tailored IT solutions that address client needs and demonstrate value.
• Creating compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the value proposition of the proposed solutions.
• Negotiating contracts, pricing, and service level agreements to close deals profitably.
• Cultivating strong and long-term relationships with clients through ongoing communication, proactive support, and exceptional customer service.
• Managing existing customer accounts, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Acting as a client advocate within the organization, ensuring their needs and feedback are heard and addressed.
• Monitoring sales activity, tracking key metrics (e.g., leads, opportunities, conversion rates), and analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement.
• Forecasting future sales and revenue based on market trends, customer activity, and pipeline analysis.
• Preparing regular sales reports and communicating sales progress to management.
• Maintaining a deep understanding of the company's products and services, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
• Keeping abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape.
• Participating in professional development activities, attending industry events, and acquiring new skills to enhance sales performance.
• CRM Management: Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in a CRM system.
• Tracking and submitting travel and entertainment expenses.
Qualifications:
• A degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in sales, particularly within the IT industry, is highly valuable.
• A strong understanding of the IT industry, including current trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes.
