Officer - Procurement
Job Location : UAE
Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance to the procurement team to conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services
• Assist manager in negotiation of contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers and vendors
• Coordinate with the team to manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring that all purchases are within budget and in compliance with NMC's policies
• Collaborate with other departments to identify procurement needs and specifications.
• Communicate and maintain relationships with existing suppliers and vendors
• Assist to monitor and analyze purchasing trends and identify opportunities for cost savings through efficient procurement.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and contracts, and provide regular reports on procurement activities
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in procurement
Job Details :
• Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration, supply chain management or related fields. Master's degree will be an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to think critically and maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
