Job Description:
NES Fircroft is seeking a skilled HVAC and Building Systems Engineer to support complex engineering projects across the energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, managing, and optimizing HVAC and building service systems in line with international and project-specific standards.
Responsibilities:
Design and oversee the implementation of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and air distribution
Evaluate mechanical systems for efficiency, performance, and regulatory compliance
Prepare technical specifications, layouts, and equipment selection for HVAC and building services
Ensure seamless integration of HVAC with plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems
Review and validate vendor submissions, shop drawings, and technical documentation
Conduct system inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Support sustainability and energy efficiency goals (e.g., LEED, Estidama, etc.)
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
5 years of experience in HVAC and building systems design and implementation, preferably in oil & gas, energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects
Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.)
Proficient in design and simulation tools (e.g., HAP, AutoCAD, Revit MEP)
Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills
Experience working in a multinational or EPC environment is a plus
