Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee electrical design engineering for oil & gas facilities, including process plants and infrastructure projects

Develop and review electrical design packages, including layouts, one-line diagrams, specifications, and cable routing

Ensure compliance with international standards, local regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, and AS), and client-specific requirements

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, structural) to ensure seamless project integration

Provide technical expertise in electrical systems design, including lighting, power distribution, motor control centers (MCC), and grounding systems

Lead design reviews and ensure timely delivery of design packages within budget

Mentor and guide junior engineers, reviewing their work for quality and accuracy

Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to resolve site issues and ensure smooth project execution

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on FEED and detailed design

Experience in the Oil & Gas sector or related industries is highly preferred

Proficiency in design tools such as ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, and other relevant software

Solid understanding of electrical codes and standards, including IEC, NEC, and local regulations

Preference will be given to candidates residing in Kuwait or with prior Kuwait work experience

Strong leadership, project management, and client interaction skills
