Roles & Responsibilities:

• Reviews the project's quality/safety documents to ensure their compliance with the contract's requirements and best practices.
• Monitors and assures proper update of applicable records, reports, safety statistics and trend analysis.
• Supports Estimation/Cost Control Functions to conclude HSE Budget for projects.
• Coordinates with the external certification bodies for the certification and surveillance audit for the business unit.
• Assures that the IMS (Integrated Management System) is properly implemented in the business unit, through periodical internal audits and provides a full audit report to the Business Unit management.
• Identifies training needs for business unit staff and propose a training plan in line with their supervisors/line managers.
• Responsible for the allocation of Safety and QA/QC team to the projects and managing them in coordination with the construction team.
• Assures that all business units' records are identifiable, retrievable and secured against deterioration or loss.
• Conducts incident investigations, summarize the root cause and take action to prevent reoccurrences.
• Responsible for effective closeout of the project/contract in conjunction with the Project QA/QC manager and Project manager.
• Conducts a regular projects audit to Enforce the compliance of QHSE management system
• Audits and evaluates subcontractors QHSE performance and competency during and at the end of each project
