Job Summary and Purpose:

Provides the technical & technological problem-solving ability and oversight to lead a team of Engineers to execute the Quality Control (QC) & Quality Assurance (QA) requirements for both Marine & Offshore Projects. Responsible for leading the team that is executing the QC & QA section strategy in close co-ordination with Operations. In accordance with the Integrated Management System (IMS), responsible to implement programs with a dual focus on both defect prevention and detection. Focuses on quality early in core business process to enable & support with a pro-active focus that is used to assure a stated level of quality, to prevent defects from entering the products and service processes in the first place and ensure defect free repair and installation works within all marine client projects. The job is often also directly assigned for carrying out specific project assignments related to establishing QA & QC measures to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications:
• Minimum Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
• Qualified Certification Scheme for Welding Inspection (CSWIP) 3.1 or equivalent.
Experience:
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in relevant position, and field experience is an advantage
