We are seeking a skilled Rotating Equipment Design Engineer to develop, design, and improve rotating machinery components and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, fluid dynamics, and materials, with experience in the oil & gas, power generation, or manufacturing industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop rotating equipment such as turbines, pumps, compressors, and motors.
Conduct feasibility studies and perform detailed engineering analysis to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Create detailed CAD models and technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, testing, and maintenance for seamless project execution.
Perform stress analysis, vibration analysis, and thermal analysis to validate designs.
Review and interpret technical specifications and standards.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and maintenance manuals.
Continuously improve existing equipment designs for efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis during manufacturing or after deployment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience (3+ years) in designing rotating equipment.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
