The KG2 Homeroom Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for children in the second year of kindergarten. The teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, assess student progress, and collaborate with parents and colleagues to support each child's development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate curriculum for KG2 students.
Create a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth.
Plan and conduct daily lessons, activities, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, maintaining accurate records of developmental milestones and academic achievements.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and coordinate school activities.
Integrate play-based learning, arts, and physical activities into daily routines.
Maintain classroom organization and ensure all materials are prepared and accessible.
Uphold school policies, rules, and code of conduct.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Valid teaching certification/license preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for early childhood education and child development.
