We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment. The teacher will facilitate the academic, social, and emotional development of students, implementing curriculum plans aligned with school standards to foster a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Manage classroom behavior and promote social-emotional development.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student achievements and concerns.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
Uphold school policies, values, and standards of conduct.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
Valid teaching certification/license for elementary education.
Prior experience in Grade 1 or early childhood education is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs.
