We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to manage the importation and logistics operations for our equipment and spare parts business. The role will focus primarily on negotiating prices with suppliers and importing machinery and parts from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and coordinating with shipping companies and clearing agents. The Logistics Supervisor will also support inventory management, particularly for spare parts, to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

Import Management & Customs Clearance

· Constantly sourcing prices to find better deal on pricings as per Management’s guidelines and product specifications given.
· Handle end-to-end import process of equipment and spare parts.
· Prepare and manage import documentation in compliance with Saudi customs requirements.
· Coordinate with clearing agents, shipping companies, and freight forwarders for smooth customs clearance.
· Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any delays or issues.
· Manage duty and tax implications, ensuring adherence to Saudi customs duty regulations.

Government & Portal Management

· Manage and update the import transactions on the Saudi government’s online customs portal.
· Maintain accurate digital records for import approvals, duty payments, and shipment tracking.
· Communicate effectively with government authorities and clearing agents in Arabic.

Logistics & Inventory Control

· Supervise logistics operations for incoming and outgoing shipments.
· Oversee storage, handling, and distribution of machines and spare parts.
· Implement inventory management practices to maintain accurate stock levels.
· Work closely with the sales and service teams to ensure availability of spare parts.

Coordination & Reporting

· Liaise with suppliers, shipping agents, and internal departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
· Negotiate rates and contracts with freight forwarders and logistics partners.
· Prepare regular reports on shipment status, customs clearance, and inventory levels.

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or customs clearance, preferably in equipment or machinery import.
· Strong knowledge of Saudi customs laws, import duties, and clearance procedures.
· Fluent in Arabic (mandatory) and proficient in English.
· Hands-on experience with Saudi customs online portals and government platforms.
· Familiarity with inventory management systems and spare parts handling.
· Strong negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

· Previous experience in equipment or spare parts importation.
· Exposure to inventory and warehouse management systems.
· Exposure to purchase procedures.
· Experience coordinating with international suppliers and local clearing agents.
