General Ledger Accountant
Job Location : UAE
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepayments, adjustments).
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger balances and subsidiary ledgers.
• Handle Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable processing, including supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist in monthly/quarterly closing.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Assist in preparation of VAT & Corporate Tax workings at the entity level.
• Support the Senior GL Accountant in preparing audit schedules and financial reports.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
Requirements:
• Graduate / Master’s in Commerce.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and good organizational skills.
