Psychology Teacher
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities :
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated psychology lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and needs, particularly those of students with SEND.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the school's SEN department and parents.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement, critical thinking, and personal growth.
• Manage student behavior effectively, adhering to school policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum enhancements and best practices in teaching psychology, specifically related to supporting students with SEND.
• Attend professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in psychology education and SEND support.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
• Participate in school events and activities.
Requirements :
• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field is essential.
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level.
• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is essential.
• Strong understanding of psychology curriculum frameworks.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
