The Demi Chef de Partie assists in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food items in a specific section of the kitchen. They work under the guidance of the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards
Assist in the daily operational tasks of the kitchen
Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
Follow food safety regulations and maintain proper storage of ingredients
Support senior chefs in developing new menu items and specials
Manage stock levels and assist with inventory checks
Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure timely service
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or related field
1-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen
Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP)
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
