Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the English department staff, fostering professional development.
Develop and implement effective curriculum plans aligned with school standards.
Monitor and evaluate teaching practices, providing feedback and support.
Promote innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Manage departmental resources and ensure the availability of teaching materials.
Organize departmental meetings and coordinate with other sections of the school.
Maintain high standards of student discipline and support academic progress.
Contribute to school-wide initiatives and policies related to English education.
Prepare and analyze departmental performance reports.
Qualifications:
A 3-year Bachelor’s degree in English or related subject area from an accredited university.
A 2-year Master’s degree in English or relevant field.
B.Ed. in English (essential!).
Minimum of 2 years UAE teaching experience in English at the primary level.
Proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
Experience with modern teaching methods and curriculum design.
