We are seeking an experienced Engineer – Planning with a strong background in Oil & Gas projects, specifically in piping and shutdown planning, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with ADNOC or similar operators in the Middle East, with a proven track record of managing complex shutdowns and turnaround activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, analyze, and maintain detailed project schedules for piping, shutdown, and turnaround activities in oil & gas projects.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, and safety teams to ensure timely project execution.
Prepare and monitor progress reports, work breakdown structures, and resource allocations.
Identify critical activities, potential delays, and develop mitigation strategies.
Review and validate project schedules, ensuring adherence to client standards and project specifications.
Facilitate planning meetings, progress reviews, and project updates with stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with ADNOC and industry safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Support procurement and logistics planning for shutdown activities.
Assist in scope definition, planning risk assessments, and contingency planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Piping, Mechanical, or relevant discipline)
Minimum 8 years of experience in planning for oil & gas projects, with significant exposure to ADNOC projects.
Experience in piping and shutdown planning, with a focus on turnaround activities.
Hands-on experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent planning tools.
Strong understanding of oil & gas plant operations, shutdown procedures, and safety protocols.
Knowledge of project management best practices and industry standards.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
